#1. Follow Freedom Trail – this trail goes by a number of historic sights throughout Boston and has many guides and guidebooks to help you along the way.
#2. Boston is very walkable with tons of sights to walk to… so your feet are going to HURT. So wear comfortable walking shoes.
#3. Try out local eateries and bars to get a real Boston experience. Whether it is eating Boston Cream Pie or heading for a Canoli at Mike’s Pastry in the North End there are tons of great things to eat and drink in Boston.
#4. Don’t just stick to Historic Boston. The city has a ton of sights to see that don’t relate to your 8th grade history class. So go explore those.
#5. Don’t come in the winter… ice, snow, cold… come visit the other three seasons and enjoy the amazing beauty of Boston.
