ME Mallorca, Magaluf
A stylish hotel on the edge of Magaluf, ME Mallorca offers glitzy interiors, a cool vibe, a fabulous beachside location with easy access to Palma (plus the Tramuntana mountains) and excellent food, making this one of the best all-inclusive hotels in Majorca. White and neutral shades contrast with metallic glitz to create the vibe of a rather cool club. There are two outdoor pools, a gym, and the SkinC beauty centre will have you buffed to brilliance. The beachside Pez Playa restaurant wouldn’t look out of place on the waterfront in Barcelona. The property is right on the edge of a particularly lovely sandy beach so ask for a room at the front for a brilliant view.

Zafiro Palace Palmanova, Palmanova beach
There’s no mistaking it, this is a pretty gargantuan resort with a labyrinthine footprint and is a real hit with families (the offerings for kids are brilliant) but it somehow manages to retain a sense of calm, which is probably due to the pristine and verdant gorunds surrounding it; there’s always a peaceful oasis to retreat to when needed. The all-inclusive offering here is excellent, with four themed à la carte restaurants – El Olivo, Pórtico, Tastes Sushi Bar, and La Veranda, which open from 6.30pm until 9.30pm. There’s also buffet restaurant, The Market, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering an impressive choice of international fare from various live cooking stations.
