Eating out in Jasná is great value compared to mainstream Alpine resorts – expect to pay €8 to €10 for a main course and €3 or less for a pint of beer. There’s a great variety on offer. Alongside all the usual international dishes, there are local specialities to check out too, such as pancakes, dumplings and lokša,homemade potato flatbread.
Like the accommodation, restaurants are spread out along the valley road with the majority in the town of Liptovský Mikuláš, 17km away. The shuttle bus doesn’t run in the evening but taxis are available. Some of the easily accessible mountain restaurants are also open in the evening.
For further Jasná inspiration, see our guides to the resort’s best accommodation and après ski.
