Now setting up camp in northern California, Ronny & Mireya begin a search grid pattern starting at their basecamp and quickly record a sound like nothing they’ve heard before. Russell stakes out an area up on the hillside to get a birds-eye view with his thermal imager. Below him, in the still of the night, a noise sounding like an African hyena is caught on tape adding to the strange sounds the team is hearing in the woods. When the sun rises, Russell scours the nearby trails to find the source of that abnormal sound.
